TAGVOGA privacy

Your information and sharing controls.

This page explains the privacy controls in the current TAGVOGA service.

Information you provide

TAGVOGA uses your email address to sign you in. Depending on the products you use, you may save inventory details and photos, pet profiles and a contact number, emergency profiles and contacts, or private medical notes. Signed-in account features use session cookies.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and product areas people use. Analytics may use cookies and basic browser and device information. We report generic page categories for account and QR screens rather than personal record URLs. Query strings, sign-in tokens, referrers, medical notes, profile names, and form contents are not included in the page-view data we send.

Automatic enhanced measurement and advertising personalization signals are disabled. Staging and preview deployments do not send data to our production Analytics property.

Optional public-page session recordings

With your permission, we use Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and privacy-masked session recordings on public marketing, Help, and Privacy pages. It can collect interaction, device, and page information to help us improve the website. Text is masked. We exclude sign-in, account tools, medical notes, personal QR pages, and URLs containing query parameters or unrecognized fragments.

Clarity does not load before you choose “Allow recording.” Advertising storage consent is denied. Use “Session recording preferences” below the footer on a public page to allow or decline future recordings. We also honor supported browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for Clarity. Microsoft Privacy Statement

What a QR scan can show

Storage labels require authorized workspace access. Activated Pet labels show the approved pet information and contact number. Activated Emergency labels show the profile name and contacts you have approved for sharing.

Anyone with an active public Pet or Emergency QR code or link can view that approved information. Obtain permission before publishing another person’s contact information. You can revoke sharing or disable a public label from its profile. Disabling a label cannot remove copies someone already saved.

Private medical notes

Medical notes are encrypted before they are stored in the medical vault. They are available only through the signed-in owner’s medical editor and are never included in public QR responses.

Each saved medical field expires 365 days after its last save unless saved again. Encryption rotation preserves the existing expiry. You can delete an individual field or all medical fields from the editor. Deleting the profile also removes its live medical fields.

Deletion, audit records, and backups

Medical deletion controls remove the live medical records. Medical access and change audit metadata is retained for up to 30 days. Expired medical records are withheld from reads and scheduled for hourly cleanup.

Deleting a live record does not immediately erase historical encrypted copies in database backups. Those copies remain subject to the database provider’s backup retention. Production medical fields and staging test fields have different retention periods; staging is restricted to synthetic test data.

Privacy questions and requests

For questions about your information, sharing controls, or an account privacy request, email support@tagvoga.com. Do not include medical notes, passwords, or sign-in links in your message.
